What questions are women millennials asking about the church? About their place in the church? About discipleship and ministry? About the spiritual path? And are their questions similar to those of women of every age?
Find out by participating in an online book discussion of the recently released Dear Joan Chittister: Conversation with Women in the Church. In the book 10 young women share their thoughts, experiences, aspirations, questions, and desires with Sister Joan and she answers each woman with a personal letter, challenging them not to accept the status quo.
For the book discussion, selected letters will be presented along with Sister Joan’s responses in which she shares her wisdom, inspiration, and courage. Posts every Monday, Wednesday and Friday will include questions for shared discussion, personal reflection and invitations to generate your own conversations with those who share your spiritual journey.
Join this intergenerational conversation so needed in today’s world and today’s Church.
Dear Joan Chittister will be facilitated by Mary Ellen Plumb, OSB, and Jessie Bazan, the book's editor. The book is required to participate in the discussion. When you register you will receive a $2.00 discount coupon if you purchase the book at Benetvision.
This three-week book discussion runs October 21 to November 8.
You will have access to the discussion for six months after it concludes.
