Monasteries of the Heart

Early in October 2011, Holy Presence will meet for an organizational get together, where we will begin the process of getting to know one another, and decide on frequency of gathering, how to approach reflecting on the text Monastery of the Heart.

As indicated by the name, this will be a contemplative group, whose ‘work’ is the privileged ministry of holy listening to another, especially those on the margins of society – the sick, homeless, mentally ill, homebound, and so on.
